Draft — last updated March 2026
Warriva is a receipt archive, which makes it a record of what you bought, where and when. This page summarises how that data is handled. It is a plain-language draft that will be replaced by the full policy before the public launch.
What we store
The photo or PDF of the receipt, the fields extracted from it (retailer, date, total, line items, warranty periods), the folders and tags you create, and your account email. Nothing else is required to use the app.
Where it is stored
In EU data centres. Images live in encrypted object storage, structured data in a managed PostgreSQL database, both encrypted at rest and in transit.
Who can see it
You, and anyone you explicitly share a folder with. Staff access is limited to named engineers for support and incident response, and is logged.
Processing for scanning
Recognising a receipt sends the image to a document-understanding service under a data-processing agreement. The image is not used to train third-party models.
Your rights
Export everything, correct any field, or delete your account and archive from within the app. Requests by email are answered within 30 days.
